New Casino Project Opens January 2026

The $275 million Cedar Crossing Casino and Entertainment Center will transform downtown Cedar Rapids with a state-of-the-art complex that offers much more than gaming. The development will feature a range of destination restaurants, including Zach Johnson’s Clubhouse and River's Edge Smokehouse, along with live entertainment at the Cedar Crossing Event Center. A STEM Lab will inspire local youth in science and technology, while the Arts and Cultural Center will host immersive exhibits. The nightlife will include award-winning options such as the Center Court Sports Bar and Strings Guitar Bar.

A community-focused shuttle program will connect Cedar Crossing with local attractions, fostering collaboration throughout the city. Additionally, the casino will contribute over $6 million annually to local nonprofits, reinforcing its commitment to the Cedar Rapids community.
