Nick's Kitchen is a legendary diner in downtown Huntington where the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich was invented in 1904. Founder Nick Freienstein started selling the massive, hand breaded sandwiches from a street cart before opening the brick and mortar diner in 1908. Today, it remains a beloved local institution where residents gather for the famous sandwich and a slice of Hoosier Sugar Cream Pie.
