Hello Neighbor!

The Evansville Region is a place where you'll be greeted with a smile and friendly wave, where your neighbors know you by name, and where houses become homes. We're classically Midwestern with a hint of southern hospitality and we can't wait to welcome you!

Since our region covers four counties - Gibson, Posey, Warrick, and Vanderburgh - we first want to introduce you to all the wonderful places in our Region that you could call home.

Downtown

Downtown Evansville brings the big city energyโ€”with a side of small-town charm. With golden-hour views along the riverfront, historic landmarks, year-round events, and one-of-akind restaurants, thereโ€™s always something to see, sip, or celebrate. This walkable neighborhood has it all. Lofts and condos? Yep, those too. Thatโ€™s why Downtown is a go-to for professionals, creatives, and anyone who loves living where the action is.

Midtown

Midtown incorporates classic charm with an urban edge to make it one of Evansvilleโ€™s most sought after addresses. Centrally located with access to a wide variety of outdoor recreation and parks, the neighborhood is perfect for families, retirees, and everyone in between seeking a calm day to day lifestyle while still being close to nearby shopping and entertainment options.

East Side

Evansvilleโ€™s East Side is the cityโ€™s go-to hub for shopping, dining, and entertainmentโ€”always buzzing with activity. From mid-century homes on tree-lined streets in the southeast to new subdivisions in the northeast, itโ€™s a neighborhood mix of established charm and modern convenience.

Haynie's Corner Arts District

Haynieโ€™s Corner is Evansvilleโ€™s creative heartbeat, where historic homes and an eclectic arts scene collide. The neighborhood buzzes with energy from local galleries, coffee shops, and festivals that spill into the streets. Itโ€™s the kind of place where youโ€™ll feel both inspired and right at homeโ€”arts district soul with a neighborly vibe.

North West Side

Evansvilleโ€™s North West side offers a landscape of rolling hills and a lot of rural countryside but also inhabits great residential neighborhoods for those not needing many acres. Paired with the fast pace of the city, the North West neighborhood allows for residents to enjoy more green areas while having the vibrancy of the city nearby, perfect for growing families.

Jacobsville

Jacobsville is Evansvilleโ€™s rising star โ€” a neighborhood with fresh energy, affordable charm, and a creative spirit. Home to historic Bosse Field, Garvin Park, and the new Deaconess Aquatic Center, it offers a unique mix of history, recreation, and community pride โ€” making it a neighborhood that feels both rooted and on the rise.

McCutchanville

One of Evansvilleโ€™s fastest-growing neighborhoods, McCutchanville is the perfect place for families to spread out. Whether youโ€™re looking to customize a new home with some acreage, find that quiet cul-de-sac where the kids can safely play, or enjoy a view of the golf course from your back door, McCutchanville offers something for everyone. This neighborhood strikes the perfect balance of peaceful country living and staying close to the action.

West Side

The West Side is where Evansvilleโ€™s spirit runs deep. Known for its fierce hometown pride (and record-breaking Fall Festival), the West Side mixes generations of tradition with a down-to-earth, friendly vibe. You'll find tight-knit neighborhoods, locally loved restaurants, and astrong sense of community at every corner. From the iconic Franklin Street strip to shaded parks and schools packed with history, the West Side is classic Evansvilleโ€”with a little extra elbow room.

Newburgh - Neighborhoods of Friedman Park

Nestled in Newburgh, the Neighborhoods of Friedman Park are one of the fastest growing residential spots in our region. Miles of running, walking, and biking trails wind through this area connecting numerous neighborhoods, multiple parks, and the highly rated public school system. In nearby Friedman Park, youโ€™ll find paved and unpaved trails, a dog park, event center, amphitheater, shelters and a playground. This popular lifestyle area sits just minutes away from both the historic downtown Newburgh riverfront and the Historic Boonville Square.

Boonville Historic Square District

Enjoy the walkability in downtown Boonvilleโ€™s Historic Square District! Schools, parks, homes, and picturesque historic storefronts are but a few steps away. In the Square District youโ€™ll find food and beverage options, gift and dรฉcor shops, event spaces, and more! Donโ€™t miss their Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and seasonal events all year.

Princeton

Known for its iconic courthouse and regal theatre, Princeton offers a vibrant downtown, well-maintained walking trails and parks, delicious local eateries, and recreation for all ages. Both locally owned small businesses and large manufacturers work together for a positive economy, and with several housing projects in the works, thereโ€™s certainly a place for you.

New Harmony

Inside and out, New Harmony is delightful from season-to-season. Whether youโ€™re enjoying the quaint beauty of the historic architecture, taking in the wonder of the Roofless Church, getting lost in the labyrinths, or attending one of the many events; youโ€™ll find that Utopia still exists in this small town.

Mt. Vernon

Big industry, A-rated school system, thriving local businesses, and family recreation; Mount Vernon, Indiana offers genuine small town feels with modern waterfront housing and a revitalized riverfront perfect for outdoor entertaining and annual events.

Haubstadt

The city of Haubstadt is the quintessential smalltown living experience. Situated in the southern part of Gibson County and located just minutes from Evansville, this rural town has amenities for every age, whether itโ€™s a meal at the historic Log Inn or a fun evening watching the races at Tri-State Speedway. Housing ranges from historic century-old homes in town to rural modern living on acreage surrounded by agriculture. Haubstadtโ€™s โ€˜neighbor helping neighborโ€™ philosophy ensures youโ€™ll feel right at home.

Henderson

Surround yourself with unique shops, pubs, and expanding dining scene with a life in Downtown Henderson or settle down in the burbs just outside of town. No matter your preference, you will be pleasantly surprised by their growing community event scene and small-town pride.
