Get a feel for what West Allis is all about from the community's locals who know best.
"I was born and raised in West Allis. After living out of state and in Milwaukee for several years, I moved back to West Allis. West Allis has all the amenities you could want but still has a small neighborhood feel. It is very pedestrian friendly, and we have such easy access to great bike trails. It is a blessing to have such a wonderful Famers Market so close by, along with a variety of local coffee shops and restaurants. But I think what I have come to appreciate most is how committed our residents are to helping each other and to building community."
